– all our bathrooms offer clean white suites with power showers (many are double walk in beauties), constant hot water bidets and complimentary toiletries. We also provide top quality fluffy cotton towels.
5. OUR BEDS – are comfortable – we only have large singles or king sized beds that are handmade to our specifications. We provide guests with crisp linens, a choice of pillows and cosy, hypoallergenic quilts.

– our location is unbeatable if you want to visit the best sights and medieval towns in Umbria. We are only 25 minutes from Gubbio, 30 mins from Assisi and just 40 mins or less from Lake Trasimeno, Perugia, Spello, Spoleto, Bevagna, the Caves of Frassasi and The Monte Cucco National Park.

Pian Di Cascina is located midway between the towns of Gubbio and Assisi. It is nestled in the hillside of Caresto, a protected ‘green belt’ area well known for its stunning natural beauty.
The house is 600 m above sea level, so even on the hottest of summer days, the air is fresh. The nearest villages are Carbonesca and Casa Castalda, which are just off the main road to the town of Gubbio.Our aim is to help you enjoy the best Umbria has to offer. We have local knowledge that will ensure you can discover the real Italy, away from the tourist track.
Whatever your interests, sun, swimming, walking, cycling, food, wine, culture or sightseeing, we are here to help you enjoy them on your holiday.
We pay attention to the little details that can make your holiday memorable.
We aim to help you relax and appreciate your surroundings. Whether you want to be left alone by the pool to relax and enjoy the sun, or want a fun packed schedule of sight-seeing, or a week walking in the countryside we will do our best to assist.
We are not a big faceless organisation and we don’t do package-style holidays. If there are any requests or problems you deal directly with us, the owners.
You book your transport. This enables you to choose the airline that suits you. You can fly scheduled flights in luxury or take advantage of the some exceptional savings with the bargain airlines. You could even drive.
There are no hidden extra charges. (Some companies will charge you extra for linen, cleaning, electricity and use of the pool!) We clearly state what is included in your holiday price. If you would like extra services, we are happy to arrange them for you and will provide an estimate of cost when you book.
We are a working small holding with organic fruit and vegetables, olives, walnuts, figs and cereal crops. You can sample our food, local wines and produce and our way of life.
